All adults are welcome (first come, first served) on the 4th Saturday* of the month from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM to receive free notarization services courtesy of Gold Torch Notary Services. All notarizations are free of charge thanks to our partnership with Gold Torch Notary Services. Notary is Stephanie Kaminski - Lic# NP0758651 - EXP: 09/08/2032. Notary is conversational in American Sign Language, but cannot interpret. Library staff and Notaries are not attorneys and will not provide legal advice or interpret legal documents. All signers and witnesses must present a valid, government-issued photo ID. Expired IDs will not be accepted. If you require witnesses, you must bring them with you along with all necessary documents for notarization. Library staff will not serve as witnesses. Advance appointments are not accepted. Come in person between the hours of 11:00 AM-1:00 PM and check in at the reference desk to join the queue for notarizations, first come, first served.

In 1960, after residents petitioned for a permanent library, a storefront branch opened at 30th Street and Lafayette Road, the first branch in the system to be located in a shopping center. A stand-alone facility at 3325 Lowry Road opened in 1970 with 12,000 square feet. On June 1, 2019 the Lowry Road facility was replaced by a new 20,000-square-foot building at 3905 Moller Road.
