Qi Gong & Meditation for Everyday People
Physical Activity with Indy Community Yoga
Monday, September 28
6:30pm - 7:30pm
You're invited to join The Library and Indy Community Yoga for free, beginner-friendly, feel-good movement, breathing, and meditation practice. Every body welcome! Practices will be facilitated by Sarah and Courtney, two of Indy Community Yoga’s three co-organizers.
No special knowledge or experience needed. Come as you are.
Qigong: We’ll find ease and strength in the body through a series of flowing movements set to music. This practice is all standing (seated is also ok) and suitable for a broad range of abilities and body types. No mats required.
Meditation: Sitting in the quiet, returning to ease in the body and ease in the breathing. You are welcome to sit on the floor, in a chair, or lie down. There’s nothing to achieve or attain.
Sharing: At the end of practice, there is time to share reflections, feelings, and questions and hear what others have to share. It's ok to just listen, too.
Indy Community Yoga is a worker-run nonprofit cooperative that leads accessible movement, silent meditation, and mindful dialogue practices, all 100% free for 100% of people. Learn more at indycommunityyoga.org
