Children 3-6 are invited to a virtual Library visit! Join us from home to sing along, listen to a story, see new places, and meet amazing people. In this week's episode, Join the ever-smiling Professor Watermelon and his friends, Zeke and Zeus, for an interactive and silly storytime all about fall.
Reading Ready Time is a virtual library experience specifically designed to help children 3-6 years old get ready to read and connect with the Library. We hope this program will help them make a connection, building on their path to becoming lifelong learners. In Falling for Fall, Professor Watermelon does an outstanding job with questioning during read-alouds. Asking children questions helps them develop critical thinking skills like making predictions and connecting the story to their own lives. Practicing this skill supports ELA Standard 1.3 – demonstrate ability to engage in conversation. Other Reading Ready Time episodes can be found on our YouTube channel.

This is not a real library branch - this is the "location" for our events that occur online. Online events that take place on Zoom should all involve registration and a link will be emailed to participants. Other online events may occur on YouTube or Facebook, and will not require registration.
