In this iteration of She Leads Legacy you will: Gain Financial Freedom, Be More Intentional with Spending, All While being Expertly Guided by Kathy Barnett and Rochelle Asberry

Join the Center for Black Literature & Culture (CBLC) alongside Kathy Barnett at Best Life. During this interactive session we will have Rochelle Asberry presenting on financial guidance and freedom. We will have personal reflection and community dialogue to help participants gain confidence in their financial journey and make their money work for them!

The event is hosted by the Center for Black Literature & Culture and inspired by our mission to celebrate and amplify the voices, stories, and lived experiences of Black people across the African diaspora. Participants will also be introduced to selected books from the CBLC collection that explore themes of finance, debt, budgeting, and more by Black authors.

About the branch

As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
