Let's dance! Join the Indy Dance Council for an exciting afternoon of performances featuring young talent from across Indy, followed by an open level movement workshop onstage (no experience necessary).
Everyone is invited to celebrate, support, and enjoy performances by Indy’s next generation of dance artists. Featuring the students of iibada Dance Company, Dance Kaleidoscope Ensemble, Kids Dance Outreach, Metropolitan Youth Ballet, Academy of Dance Arts, Samyoga School of Dance and more, this show highlights the exceptional range of talent and dance styles present in our city.
Immediately following the show audience members aged 5-12 are invited to join in a movement workshop led by Paul Appleman, a former Houston Ballet soloist, David Dorfman dancer, and Artistic Director of Atlanta Dance Project who is currently pursuing his doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the University of Indianapolis.
This event is being offered in partnership with Indy Dance Council.
Registration encouraged but not required.

Central Library
As the hub of the Indianapolis Public Library system, Central Library showcases renowned architecture and services. The original 1917 building, designed by Paul Cret and constructed of Indiana limestone in the Greek Doric style, was considered one of the most outstanding secular buildings in the U.S. Its six-story glass and steel-framed addition, designed by Evans Woollen, opened in 2007.
